The Debate Tournament Utrecht (DTU – Debattoernooi Utrecht) is the second oldest large debate tournament of the Netherlands. Since 1998, it is organised annually by the Utrecht Debating Society (UDS).
The tournament held the status of Dutch Debating Championships (colloquially called NK after the Dutch “Nederlands Kampioenschap”) three times, in 2001, 2004, and 2008. In 2020, the tournament was not organised. In its place, the UDS organised the NK around the same time. The DTU was held in the AP-style until 2011. Until 2003, the tournament was organised under the name of the UDS Toernooi.
